The Roof Deck at 2601 Blake Street took cooperation and coordination from the existing building tenants, owner and design team and all the subcontractors to make this a successful project. This was a unique undertaking in that the design continued to evolve with input from multiple subcontractors throughout the project.
Weekly coordination/planning meetings were held for several weeks leading up to the most critical element to remove a portion of the roof and structure to make way for a new stair through an occupied tenant space. Once the stairway was complete the new deck and rest room were installed. The final product boasts a great view of the mountains and downtown Denver with a relaxing fire pit and shade structure available for year around enjoyment.
